Olav Kooij conclude in gloria lo ZLM Tour conquistando il successo anche nella quinta e ultima tappa, la Made - Rijsbergen di 160,5 km. L'olandese ha firmato la tripletta e conquistato il successo finale nella corsa olandese. Secondo posto di tappa per il danese Alexander Salby (Riwal) e terzo per l'australiano Sam Welsford della DSM.

Fuga di giornata che ha avuto per protagonisti Meijers, Bierkens, Dissel, Van der Tuuk e Kroonen: bella azione, la loro, visto che sono rimasti al comando fino a poco più di un chilometro dal traguardo.

Purtroppo a 14 chilometri una caduta che ha coinvolto tra gli altri Viviani, Jyce, Gisbson, Orts, Leysen, Vermote e Van Pocke. Il veronese e altri si sono fortunatamente rialzati e hanno inseguito con veemenza la testa del gruppo. Ma ormai la volata era lanciata...

Piazzato anche oggi Jakub Mareczko che ha chiuso al quinto posto e ha terminato al secondo posto della classifica finale alle spalle di Kooij.
