Lorenzo Cataldo has won the fifth stage of the Tour of Poyang Lake. The 25-year-old athlete from Gragnano Sporting Club completed the 120-kilometer stage with start and finish in Lianhua, beating Estonian Norman Vahtra, 28, from China Anta - Mentech, and Russian Sergey Rostovtsev, currently with the Chinese Continental team Shenzhen Kung.

Cataldo, who had already secured top placements in previous stages of the Chinese race, now claims victory and brings his personal successes in 2025 to three: we had previously seen him with his arms raised in two stages of the Tour of Bulgaria.
