We will continue to see Eleonora Gasparrini wearing the UAE Team ADQ jersey at least until the end of the 2028 season, a team she joined in 2023 and with which she has celebrated six of her seven victories so far in the top category of cycling.
The news of the contract extension binding the 23-year-old from None to the Emirati team was officially announced shortly after her victory at the Grand Prix Stuttgart, where Eleonora beat Cat Ferguson and repeated her 2024 success.
Gasparrini, who this season can boast a victory at the Grand Prix du Morbihan and about a dozen top-10 finishes, explained about the contract renewal: "For me, it was a natural choice, a continuation of the path of the last three years. I believe I am in the right place to continue growing, gaining experience, and achieving important goals. I think this is a new great opportunity for my career to take another step forward; in this team, I have found the maximum possible support and I am aware that I still need to work hard to improve. In the future, I would like to further improve my climbing performance to become even more competitive on certain types of routes and manage to achieve something significant".
The talented Piedmontese rider, multiple winner of the tuttoBICI Oscar in youth categories, also gave her assessment of the 2025 season now drawing to a close: "It has been a positive year for me and for the team. I am very happy with what we have managed to do, and especially with the group that has formed. It is truly wonderful to work with and for teammates".
Gasparrini's competitive commitments are not over, however: we should see her in action in the Italian races in the coming weeks.
