Significant additions have been officially announced in recent hours by Swatt Club and Lucky Sport Cycling Team.
The team of President Carlo Beretta, coming off a 2026 season concluded with six victories and participation in several notable international .Pro races such as the Giro del Veneto and Tour of Denmark, has announced the signing of Gustav Wang from XDS Astana Devo, a rider who, after two years of hard work and sacrifice in the Kazakh development team (with which he achieved some placings but zero victories), will bolster the Danish contingent within the Italian squad.
For the latter, the addition to the roster for next year of the 2003-born rider from Rødovre (World champion in the time trial among juniors in 2021 and, this year, second at the Grand Prix Herning) represents an acquisition that is both interesting and significant, capable (at least on paper) of making it even more competitive and aggressive in the races it will participate in.
Of equal significance, remaining at the Continental level, is the signing of Toralf Rydningen Martinsen for the ambitious Lucky Sport Cycling Team, a Swedish team that, after seeing its support renewed by its main sponsor and its budget increased for 2027, did not let slip the opportunity to sign the most promising of the Martinsen brothers.
After starting the season with the colors of Team Drali-Repsol and distinguishing himself by finishing in the top eight of the general classification at the Tour of Rhodes, Fleche du Sud and especially the Tour of Austria, he spent the final part of 2026 wearing (as a stagiaire) the jersey of Uno-X Mobility, the team with which the twenty-two-year-old Norwegian took part in the Italian classics in October before receiving the offer and signing the agreement with the yellow-and-violet representative of Oskar and Erik Ekman.
For them too, the acquisition of a prospect like the 2000-born rider from Øverbygd, who still has to express all his potential while having already demonstrated very promising things, constitutes a significant coup that certainly raises the quality of the squad (also strong for next season with Teodor De Luca and Finnish champion Karl Kurits) and allows the entire team (driven by the ambition to reach the professional ranks in 3 years) to dream even bigger.
