Lidl-Trek announces the signing of Ally Wollaston: the current New Zealand national champion will join the team starting from the 2027 season, with a contract valid through the end of 2029.

Among the most versatile athletes in the women's roster, Wollaston brings to Lidl-Trek an impressive mix of speed, endurance and tactical ability. The twenty-five-year-old has established herself as a leading protagonist both on road and track, boasting a palmares that includes Olympic, World and Commonwealth Games medals, along with victories at the highest levels of road cycling.

Among her most important successes are victories in the general classification of the Tour of Britain and the Festival Elsy Jacobs, as well as two consecutive wins at the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race. In 2024 she won two track world titles and claimed both silver and bronze at the Paris Olympic Games.

Wollaston has continued to grow, establishing herself as one of the most complete and consistent athletes in the group, capable of fighting for victory in sprints, one-day classics and fast, technical finales, while also playing an important support role for her teammates.
