UAE Team L'IMAD is pleased to announce that Greta Marturano has renewed her contract with the team for the 2027 season.

Greta Marturano's first two seasons with UAE Team L'IMAD have been filled with moments of great satisfaction, culminating in her victory at the Vuelta a Extremadura and the strong bond she has established within the team thanks to her commitment, reliability, and support offered to her teammates.

Indeed, beyond the results, it is especially the experiences shared with her teammates that have left their mark.
"There have been many beautiful moments. Perhaps one of the most beautiful was last year at the training camp for the Giro: the atmosphere and the bond that had formed between us girls is definitely a memory I will always carry with me".

Over these two years, the team has also represented a fundamental point of reference for Greta during a particularly difficult period of her career. "This team gave me the confidence and peace of mind that I had somewhat lost in recent years. I had the misfortune of suffering quite serious injuries over these two years and the fortune of finding people who have always been by my side and helped me get back up every time. And for that I am grateful".

It is precisely this human connection, together with the growth that Greta has continued to demonstrate despite the difficulties, that was the basis for her decision to extend her contract. "All these things are some of the reasons why I wanted to renew with the team. Another reason is the constant growth I am experiencing despite everything and that I would like to continue to have next year as well".

The new agreement will allow her to face 2027 with the peace of mind necessary to focus on her own journey and consistently express her qualities once again. An important role in this journey will continue to be played by her teammates.
"The group is very important in our team and fortunately we are a good group both on and off the bike. I think this is one of our strengths".

After two seasons also marked by various physical setbacks, the goal for 2027 is therefore above all to finally experience a regular season, without interruptions, and to have the opportunity to demonstrate her true value. "The goal for next season is to have a good season without any setbacks and injuries, which have unfortunately characterized this season too much, and to be able to demonstrate my true value".
