The venue of the Italian National Championship, which took place with its finale in the provincial capital Cuneo, the Granda Province is preparing to host the Gran Piemonte on October 8th. In an article signed by Franco Bocca, today's edition of La Stampa announces that the former Giro del Piemonte will take place between Asti and Bra, proposing an extra-provincial start as occurred during the national road race, which went to Jonathan Milan.
Two days before the Lombardia, of the 185 kilometers planned, 170 will be on the roads of the Cuneese area. Affected by the passage of the prestigious race are the municipalities of Canale, Corneliano d'Alba, Alba. Followed by Manera di Benevello, Borgomale, Lequio Berria and Tre Cunei, a hamlet of Albaretto Torre. A decidedly Langhe-focused route includes the climb of Roddino, Dogliani, Farigliano, Carrù, Bene Vagienna and Narzole. The finale features a circuit to be repeated twice (first passage under the finish line in Bra at km 149), including the climb of La Morra.
