A video that brings emotions: it's Chiara Teocchi who finally returns to smiling. She herself tells us her story: «As you know, I was involved in a serious crash at La Thuile. I was first transported to Aosta and then I decided to get treatment in Bergamo. Here they discovered that I had suffered a spinal cord injury and it was decided to proceed with surgery. Unfortunately, during the operation I had an allergic reaction to a drug that caused me cardiac arrest for almost an hour. It was a difficult moment but thanks to the cardiac surgery staff at Bergamo Hospital I managed to overcome it».

And further: «I won my most important race and now I have a new friend, a wheelchair, I don't know for how long but I can assure you that I will do everything to get back on my feet and maybe back in the saddle. It will certainly be a journey and that's why I decided to open a fundraiser on GoFundMe so that anyone who wants to can help me with the medical expenses I will have to face. I take this opportunity to thank my family, my team, the Army Sports Group, the cardiac surgery and intensive care departments of Bergamo Hospital and everyone who has shown me their affection and support.
