Anticipation is growing for the Marco Pantani Memorial, one of the most eagerly awaited appointments of the Italian season finale, which on Saturday, September 12th will once again bring top-level cycling to the roads of Romagna.
The 2026 edition will offer an ideal journey through the heart of Marco Pantani's land, with the start from Riccione and the finish in Cesenatico, uniting two symbolic locations of the Romagna Riviera in a day that, as tradition dictates, aims to combine great sport, territory, and memory.
The general, sporting, and technical organization is entrusted to the Emilia Sports Group, thanks to a now well-established collaboration with the Emilia-Romagna Region and the Cesena Panathlon Club.
In 2026 as well, the Marco Pantani Memorial will be valid as a stage of the Coppa Italia delle Regioni, adding further technical and competitive value to an event that is preparing to welcome a field of participants of absolute international caliber.
There are indeed 25 registered teams, with as many as 10 WorldTour formations, among which are Bahrain Victorious, EF Education-EasyPost, Groupama-FDJ United, Movistar Team, Netcompany INEOS, Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe, Team Jayco AlUla, UAE Team Emirates XRG, Uno-X Mobility, and XDS Astana Team.
Completing the picture will be Bardiani CSF 7 Saber, Burgos-Burpellet-BH, Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, Cofidis, Equipo Kern Pharma, Euskaltel-Euskadi, MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort, Polti-VisitMalta, Solution Tech Nippo Rali, TotalEnergies, Tudor Pro Cycling Team, Unibet Rose Rockets, Biesse-Carrera-Premac, General Store-Essegibi-F.lli Curia, and Team Technipes #InEmiliaRomagna Caffè Borbone.
The race details will be officially announced during the vernissage scheduled for Tuesday, September 1st at 11:00 AM at the Palazzo del Turismo in Riccione.
