Another piece of the puzzle falls into place for Human Powered Health in the coming seasons: the American-based team has officially announced the arrival of former world champion Amalie Dideriksen. The 30-year-old, who became world champion in Doha 2016, will leave Cofidis at the end of this season, where she has been for the past two years.

Fresh off the Tour de France Femmes, where she wore the Danish national champion's jersey that she claimed at the end of June for the sixth time in her career, Dideriksen stated: "Human Powered Health really seems like a fantastic team to work with. It appears they do a lot for their athletes and I think they approach racing in an excellent manner. I had Magnus Bäckstedt as my sporting director at Cofidis; then he moved to Human Powered Health. This makes the team even more interesting for me. I can't wait to start this new adventure"

She brings to the team strength, versatility, and tactical intelligence, but above all the right wealth of experience for a growing squad".

An Olympic silver medalist in the Madison at Tokyo and a winner of world and European titles on the track as well, Dideriksen will wear the Human Powered Health jersey through the end of 2028. The announcement of her signing follows that of Marta Lach, which the American team made official a few days ago.
