Tadej Pogacar, with his 4 victories (and the overall classification lead), has been the absolute protagonist, followed with 3 wins by Tim Merlier. Belgium and Slovenia have obtained 4 victories each so far and are the best among the 7 nations that have scored.

Del Toro, Kooij, Wærenskjold and Schmid celebrated their first stage victory in their Grand Tour careers, while Pogacar has reached 25 stage wins, equaling Frenchman André Leducq in fourth place in the all-time ranking. For the world champion, furthermore, 65 days overall in the yellow jersey (third of all time) and numbers of absolute significance in the Grand Tours: 34 stage wins and 85 days as classification leader.

Pogacar, with his 17 seasonal victories obtained in World Tour races, has confirmed himself at the top of the respective ranking. There are now 49 riders overall with at least one victory in the main UCI circuit, representing 17 nations.

The Tour de France has been stingy with satisfaction for Italian cycling, which in the first two weeks has collected only two top-ten finishes: Marco Frigo's 4th place at Foix in the fourth stage and Filippo Ganna's 5th at Ussel in the ninth.
