Today Alpecin-Premier Tech proudly presented the Merci Poupou 2026 jersey, a tribute to the legendary Raymond Poulidor, known in the cycling world as Poupou. This nickname is synonymous with passion and perseverance, values that Poulidor embodied throughout his extraordinary career.

The Merci Poupou 2026 jersey is inspired by the iconic Miko-Mercier-Hutchinson jersey worn by Poulidor in 1977, the final season of his professional career. This year, the jersey will be the centerpiece of a fundraising campaign supporting the Merci Poupou Foundation and the Merci Poupou Academy. During the traditional "Merci Poupou coffee ride" event, held on the second rest day of the Tour de France, riders will wear this special jersey, continuing the tradition of honoring Poulidor and raising funds for his causes.

Additionally, the Merci Poupou Academy will support youth cycling initiatives such as WAC Team, Crabbé-Dstny, and NXTG Racing.
