TOUR DE FRANCE | 01/07/2026 | 10:06

Netcompany INEOS has announced a squad of great experience and power for the Tour de France, which will start on Saturday from Barcelona. The squad combines proven experience and talent in the Grand Tours with the ability to win. From the team time trial of the first stage to the final week, the team will seek to dominate the race, seizing every opportunity to win.

Geraint Thomas, Sporting Director, stated: "This squad has exceptional riders that the public loves to watch. They will have the freedom to dare and race aggressively for all three weeks. Fortune favors the bold. We didn't come to this Tour to follow the race, but to shape it. The team time trial in Barcelona represents an excellent opportunity to start strong. This year we've achieved good results in this discipline, so we'll give our all."

The Netcompany INEOS team lineup consists of:
Thymen Arensman, 26 years old, Netherlands. A talented climber with several stage wins at the Tour, Thymen performs at his best in the mountains and provides the team with solid support in the high altitude. "I'm very happy and proud to have been selected for this year's Tour. I think racing the Giro d'Italia was excellent preparation and I've taken time to recover and take care of my body. I have wonderful memories of last year's Tour and I'm motivated to participate again and see what we can achieve. We have a strong team and there's excellent team dynamics, which is always very important."

Egan Bernal, 29 years old, Colombia. Winner of the 2019 Tour de France and the 2021 Giro d'Italia, his experience in the Grand Tours, combined with his professionalism and attitude, both on and off the bike, make him an integral part of the team. "The Tour de France is a special race for me and I'm grateful and happy to be back racing at this level. I feel good, I'm motivated and ready to give my best for this group of riders."

Tobias Foss, 29 years old, Norway. The former world time trial champion excels in time trials, but his ability to support in the mountains as well makes him a versatile rider, perfect for this course. "I'm very happy to have been selected for my second Tour with Netcompany INEOS. We'll start with a fantastic group, so I can't wait to get involved with the guys and seize the opportunities that will come my way over the next three weeks."

Filippo Ganna, 29 years old, Italy. A multiple time trial champion and one of the most powerful engines in cycling, Ganna is also capable of attacking and supporting in flat stages. "It's a really strong group that we'll bring to the Tour and that's what excites me most. I'll do my best to give my all in the time trials and on flat terrain, to keep the team in the right position and we'll see what we can build together over the three weeks."

Dorian Godon, 30 years old, France. The former French champion is known for his racing technique and versatility. A sprinter who thrives in hard and unpredictable races, Dorian will give additional strength and depth to the team. "I'm very happy to announce that French mustaches will arrive at the Tour de France this summer! It's an important moment for me to race my first Tour with Netcompany INEOS and I can't wait to give my best and attack when the opportunity presents itself."

Michał Kwiatkowski, 36 years old, Poland. Former world champion and great one-day racer with a glittering palmares, Kwiatkowski, with a decade of racing and victories at the highest level, will guarantee stability and leadership as road captain. "Being able to tackle the Tour de France has been my motivation to return to racing this year after my injury. Sometimes it seemed almost impossible, but I never stopped believing and, thanks to the great support of the team, I made it. I'm proud of what I've achieved in such a short time and I'm ready to get down to business."

Josh Tarling, 22 years old, Wales. A time trial talent with European and national titles already to his name, the Tour de France debutant is one of the most promising young talents in the group and his power against the clock and his flat terrain ability make him a valuable resource for all three weeks of the race. "I'm very happy and can't wait. We have a really strong team, so I'm really excited about the team we have for the time trial and the stages, we'll have a great Tour together."

Kévin Vauquelin, 25 years old, France. An aggressive and versatile rider who finished seventh overall in last year's Tour, Kévin combines climbing ability with a fearless instinct for attacking. "As a French rider, the Tour is always an incredible event to be part of. And this is my first Tour with Netcompany INEOS, so it will be even more special. This is a strong group and I can't wait to race aggressively,
