After writing important chapters in Italian cycling in recent years, Libertas Ceresetto returns as a protagonist in organizing a major national event. On Sunday, June 28th, Pordenone will host the Italian Women Elite and Under 23 Championship. This event, for which the organizing society warmly thanks the Italian Cycling Federation for its support and assistance, will bring the best professional cyclists of the national landscape to the roads of Friuli.

An Italian Championship made possible also by the support of the Municipality of Pordenone, always attentive to using sport as a tool for promoting the territory and sporting values for society. A tricolor event that returns after the positive experience of 2025. Just one year ago, in fact, Libertas Ceresetto collaborated with Cellina Bike in organizing the 2025 Italian Professional Championships, both the men's road race and the individual time trial, as well as organizing the Italian Youth Championships for the Esordienti and Allievi categories, both male and female.

The route of the Italian Women Elite Championship promises spectacle. The key point of the race will be the climb of Castello di Caneva, which the athletes will have to face three times. An ascent that will make the difference and which, over the course of the race, will contribute to an overall elevation gain of approximately 1,100 meters, making the event particularly compelling from a technical and athletic perspective. The start and finish will be in the city of Pordenone with the start taking place at 12:30 p.m.

With this new national appointment, Libertas Ceresetto once again confirms its commitment to promoting cycling and enhancing the Friuli territory, consolidating an organizational tradition that in recent years has made it one of the most active reference points in the Italian cycling movement.
