There have certainly been no shortage of emotions and controversies in this 2026 edition of the Giro d'Italia Women and we can be sure that the ninth and final stage will entertain us as well. On the agenda today is the Saluzzo – Saluzzo, 145 km to conclude this pink adventure.

It won't be a simple procession, quite the opposite. The final stage of the Giro Women features 2200 m of elevation gain and the overall classification could change once again. On paper it's a perfect day for the attackers, but coming at the close of the pink race everyone will want to take advantage of it for one last assault on the leader's jersey.

After 46 km they will face in order the Montoso climb (8.9 km at 9.4%), the Coletta di Paesana and finally the Colletta di Brondello (6.9 km at 6.5%) which finishes 38 km from the finish. This route is very reminiscent of an Ardennes classic and, in the case of small time gaps, we could witness a real final plot twist.
