The Giro d'Italia Women 2026 will take place from May 30 to June 7 and will feature nine stages for a total of 1,183.7 kilometers and 12,300 meters of total elevation gain. The route will traverse much of northern Italy with stages suited for sprinters, a climbing time trial at Nevegal, a very demanding day from Longarone to Santo Stefano di Cadore, and two decisive mountain stages in the Piedmont Alps, with passage over the Colle delle Finestre and finishes at Sestriere and Saluzzo that could prove decisive for the general classification.

Following last year's victory, UAE Team ADQ will again be led by Italian champion Elisa Longo Borghini, who will be joined by Silvia Persico, Mavi Garcia, Eleonora Gasparrini, Alena Amialiusik, Erica Magnaldi, and Lara Gillespie for the sprints.
On Thursday, May 28, at 6:00 PM, a press conference with the team's athletes will be held at the Hotel Mediterraneo in Riccione.
