The Pink Jersey of the 109th Giro d'Italia was unveiled today at the Protomoteca del Campidoglio in Rome. An timeless icon of the race and symbol of sporting excellence, the 2026 edition is enriched with even deeper meanings, linked to the history and identity of the nation.
Inside the collar, there is a special insert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Italian Republic, with the inscription: "SPORT THAT UNITES, ITALY THAT INSPIRES" accompanied by the text "1946-2026 – 80 YEARS – ITALIAN REPUBLIC".
The Pink Jersey is also the result of a prestigious partnership with partners that represent Italian excellence in their respective fields.
IO SONO FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA will be Official Sponsor. The institutional brand of the Region, launched in 2020, promotes the territory, enterprises and local initiatives, with a strong focus on origin, sustainability and identity.
ALTOGRANO enters the Giro d'Italia as the "Official Ingredient" with its logo on the sleeve of the Pink Jersey: the evolution of flour born from Casillo's research and development, naturally rich in fiber and protein, designed for conscious and balanced daily nutrition.
CASTELLI, an excellence of Italian manufacturing with 150 years of history. To celebrate this important milestone, the iconic "scorpion" is dressed in a special and innovative logo. The race leaders at the Giro d'Italia will wear the fastest jersey in the world, the result of an aerodynamic study conducted by Castelli technicians and tested in the wind tunnel of the Politecnico di Milano.
On the front of the Jersey there is also space for MASAF – I Love Italian Cuisine UNESCO World Heritage. The Italian Cuisine project, promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests, celebrates the national gastronomic heritage, strengthened after the support in 2025 for the candidacy of Italian cuisine as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
