In the elite-under 23 race of "Pasqualando" the strongest sprinter in the group of 14 riders who competed for victory was the not yet twenty-year-old from Pistoia Andrea Stefanelli of Team Hopplà, a team that wisely controlled the race on the flat circuit of Ponte a Egola, having famous sprinters and favorites in mind, considering the characteristics of the course. The very fast race with 68 starters was animated by Pistoia's Petri of Team Hopplà who forced the other teams to chase. Further ahead, once the generous Petri was caught, a group of 14 riders formed at the front who competed for victory. The Hopplà tandem in black jerseys with Stefanelli and Bruno came out ahead from the final semicurve, taking first place with the young Tuscan and second with the Sicilian, the latter achieving his third podium in six days after San Gimignano and Mercatale Valdarno. For the team of patron Claudio Lastrucci it's the third success in 2026 after Lorenzo Magli's double and Stefanelli's first under 23 victory. In third place as in 2025 Tessari, then Damiano and Spinelli. The race was held over 46 laps of 2.2 km and the final average speed was over 47 km/h.
