Among the many novelties of the Giro del Belvedere 2026, scheduled as always on Easter Monday, Monday, April 6, there is the debut of Tudor Pro Cycling U23. The "cantera" of the Swiss Professional team, but with a structure comparable to World Tour squads, is ready to compete for the first time with the finish line at Villa di Cordignano and the roads of the Marca Trevigiana.

With 6 Devo Teams and 24 Continental squads, contenders for the title held by Genoese Lorenzo Finn are certainly not lacking. The Italian, reigning U23 world champion, has not yet made up his mind about his participation, but should he return, he would find numerous talented rivals, starting with Jan Huber, class of 2005 and world road silver medalist last year. "Finn's return? It would further increase the already very high level of the race, but I wouldn't see it as a rematch of the Worlds – commented the Swiss rider – rather as a new test for both of us to understand how our development is progressing".

Despite Tudor Pro Cycling being at their first participation in the Giro del Belvedere, confidence in the U23 squad is very high, as demonstrated by the 8 Espoirs who have already made their professional debut at the start of 2026: "The experience has been good and useful – Huber continued – as it allowed me to learn a lot from more experienced riders, and to better understand certain dynamics such as staying in the group and racing with the radio".

The team's ambitions for the Giro del Belvedere are very clear: "Our objective is to aim for at least the podium. Races are unpredictable though, especially when there are so many high-level athletes: during the race we'll understand what our realistic objectives actually are".

There are 168 kilometers scheduled for the Giro del Belvedere 2026 with over 2000 meters of total elevation gain: to tackle the Conche climb, the challenging Piai della Vigna ramp and the historic climbs of Montaner and Via delle Longhe which have always represented the ideal springboard to the finish line. Among the squads, Vega-Vitalcare-Dynatek replaces Beltrami TSA Tre Colli.
