The Piccolo Trofeo Binda for women juniors speaks Italian. The winner is Matilde Rossignoli, born in 2008 from Salizzole in Verona, current Italian champion of BFT Burzoni VO2 Team Pink and daughter of former professional Francesco Rossignoli, who crossed the finish line in Cittiglio ahead of German Bieberle and Polish Okrucinska. The race, valid as a UCI Nations Cup event for Women Juniors, started from Luino and concluded in Cittiglio, as is tradition. 
The young Italian athlete won the race at the end of a thrilling sprint, managing to beat all her rivals after a hard-fought race on the roads of the Valli del Verbano.

Rossignoli managed the final perfectly, imposing herself at the sprint on the Cittiglio finish line and delivering a victory of great prestige to the Italian public in one of the most important competitions on the junior world calendar: "I dedicate this success to my team – the winner said after the race - my teammates were fantastic and created the best conditions for me to contest the sprint".

Matilde Rossignoli is at her first seasonal victory in a season that promises to be a starring one. In second place was German Edda Bieberle, in third Polish Maria Okrucinska
