After crossing the finish line, the Ligurian from Team Ukyo completely let his emotions take over, aware of having achieved a truly special success.

«I can't believe it, what happened today is crazy» says Garibbo after the finish line. In the eyes of the Ligurian there is the emotion of having achieved success after so many sacrifices, a special day in which we saw him always on the attack. «This morning I didn't have good feelings, but once I started the climbing section I began to feel incredibly better. I wanted to try to attack, even at the hardest points, but I used my head to avoid going into the red. Initially I let the group catch me, I caught my breath for a moment and as soon as Garofoli attacked I followed him, together we brought ourselves back to the head of the race. What happened today is incredible and honestly I can't even find the right words to describe it.»

Nicolò Garibbo is a familiar name to Tuttobici, in 2023 he won the Oscar as best elite cyclist. The athlete born in '99 then raced for the Technipes #inemilia romagna team and in 2025 joined Team Ukyo. The team led by Alberto Volpi and Manuele Boaro helped him grow and believe in his possibilities, a united group that always supported him even during the various injuries of his career. «I believe this is the most beautiful day of my career, I have always dreamed of winning a race like this. I dreamed about it all winter, every day I trained, every time I made sacrifices, I always tried to improve myself to achieve my dreams. In the past seasons I had several physical problems that didn't allow me to give my best, but the team always believed in me and never abandoned me. Now I want to have the opportunity to show what I can do» said Nicolò, who today has returned to smiling and has reaped the fruits of so many sacrifices.
