Canavese prepares to pedal for a special cause. Next March 15th, the Ivrea territory will host the first official edition of 100% GATTO, a cycling event dedicated to the gravel world that combines the passion for exploration with concrete solidarity.

The initiative is born with a noble objective: the entire proceeds from the event will be donated to the Ivrea Cat Shelter (EporediAnimali ONLUS), supporting the care and well-being of local animals.

A territory to discover among lakes and castles.

After the success of last year's "zero" invitation-only edition (which involved 50 cyclists), the 100% GATTO Team opens its doors to all enthusiasts. The route will wind through the hills, lakes, and castles of the Eporediese area, zones with extraordinary cycle tourism potential that the event aims to showcase.

"We strongly believe that Canavese deserves a prominent place on the national gravel maps", the organizers explain. "Our goal is to grow the event year after year, aiming for 400 participants in the next three years, to ensure that the contribution to the cat shelter becomes increasingly significant."

Patronages and collaborations

The event enjoys the patronage of the City of Ivrea and sees the active collaboration of the Canavese Tourism Operators Consortium, confirming the social and promotional value of the project for the entire local community.

Participants will find an exhibition area at the start/finish and will receive a "Race Pack" with informative materials and partner gadgets. The 100% Gatto cycle tour is part of the Canavese Gravel Tour circuit and offers two routes to discover the Canavese territory, to be done at one's preferred pace, creating the perfect balance between sport, fun, and community spirit.
