In 2026, Kometa renews and strengthens its presence in the world of professional cycling. The company will continue to support the Polti VisitMalta Kometa Team and will be once again an official partner of the Giro d'Italia and official sponsor of Tirreno-Adriatico and Milano-Sanremo, three of the most prestigious competitions organized by RCS Sports & Events
Last year, audiences across Italy had the opportunity to taste Kometa's market-leading product, Giusto Oven-Baked Turkey Breast.
This year, these same races will be the occasion to present - in the stands present at all starts and finishes - the new Giusto Lean Cooked Ham High Quality, the most recent, enticing offering from the Giusto Kometa Line, dedicated to those who believe that wellness and taste should pedal together. Carefully selected raw materials and attentive, controlled processing create light products, perfect for athletes and those seeking balance without sacrificing culinary pleasure.
A way to share Kometa's commitment and continuous research to develop increasingly healthy and sustainable proposals that meet the taste and needs of modern consumers. From the crowds along the roads to families following the race from home, Kometa recognizes in this audience a community that celebrates determination, commitment, and authenticity: the same community of values that the company promotes every day through its work.
Passion for sports and proper nutrition will travel together again in the 2026 Giro, which will start next May 8th from Bulgaria. "Our support for cycling stems from the deep affinity between sports values and those that inspire Kometa" and from the desire to spread greater awareness about the importance of a balanced lifestyle, where sport is a vehicle for growth and well-being, and healthy nutrition plays a central role in health", declares Giacomo Pedranzini, CEO of Kometa. "That's why we are proud to continue our journey alongside the Giro d'Italia and RCS Sport's educational projects.
Kometa confirms its support for the Biciscuola Project, an educational initiative aimed at primary school students to introduce them to bicycle culture, also addressing wellness, environmental, and road safety education. Last year, Biciscuola allowed Kometa to meet more than a thousand children, raising awareness about the importance of healthy nutrition and movement, two fundamental allies against childhood obesity.
"The renewal and strengthening of the partnership with Kometa represent an important signal of continuity and confidence in the value of competitions organized by RCS Sports & Events. The Giro d'Italia, Tirreno-Adriatico, and Milano-Sanremo are reference events at an international level and ideal platforms to highlight realities that share principles of quality, sustainability, and promotion of healthy lifestyles. We are particularly satisfied to continue this shared path, which is expressed not only through sporting presence but also through educational initiatives with great social impact like the Biciscuola project," comments Matteo Mursia, Chief Revenue Officer of RCS Sports & Events.
