Even great champions cannot resist the call of the Olympics and the charm of the five rings. Last night Novak Djokovic was in Milan admiring the evolutions of figure skating stars (the Serbian paid homage with a standing ovation to the American Ilia Malinin, an authentic phenomenon of the discipline, who performed an endless sequence of quadruple jumps), today instead on the snowy slopes of Cortina was Primoz Roglic, Slovenian champion of Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe.
Roglic took two days to experience the Olympics up close, he didn't bring skis but his bicycle and didn't miss training: today he followed the training of various athletes in Cortina and tomorrow he will be in Predazzo to watch the mixed team ski jumping event, the discipline he practiced as a young man and always keeps close to his heart.
A small break in the snow before returning to his team's training camp and fully resuming preparation for his seasonal debut, scheduled for March 9th at the Tirreno-Adriatico.
