Modern Adventure Pro Cycling is the new team of George Hincapie, the former American professional from Motorola, Postal Service Discovery Channel, High Road and BMC, with the latter team concluding his career in 2012 after winning a Gand-Wevelgem, a Tour de France stage, and two US road titles.
Hincapie has presented the 20 cyclists who will compose the Professional formation from the States, including the standout Colombian talent Samuel Flórez, current U23 National Champion in time trial and road race. There will also be known names, such as Stefan de Bod and Robin Carpenter, who will return to the professional circuit, and British rider Leo Hayter, younger brother of Ethan, who returns to cycling after overcoming mental health challenges.
The list also includes Canadian Riley Pickrell from the Israel Premier Tech team, Cole Kessler from the Lidl Trek development team, Tyler Stites from Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, and Mark Stewart from Solution Tech-Vini Fantini.
The roster is completed by British rider Lucas Towers, South African Byron Munton, New Zealanders Ben Oliver and Paul Wright, and Americans Samuel Boardman, Ezra Caudell, Sean Christian, Kieran Haug, Harry Lasker, Ian López de San Román, Brody McDonald, Scott McGill, and Hugo Scala Jr.
Most riders have signed two-year contracts, which guarantees a certain stability to the project that plans a minimum group presence of six years.
