Pascal Ackermann will wear the Team Jayco AlUla jersey for the next two seasons and will be one of the key elements of the sprinters' train of the Australian formation. The 31-year-old German has won 45 UCI races during his career, including three Giro d'Italia stages and two Vuelta a España stages, as well as being the German national champion.
Ackermann will join his compatriot Jasha Sütterlin and Slovenian Luka Mezgec, who are part of the Team Jayco AlUla sprint squad. He is an established winner and a veteran with nine seasons at the top of professional cycling. The GreenEDGE Cycling management believes that Ackermann will strengthen the team's sprint squad, in addition to providing valuable experience.
Pascal Ackermann comments: "The Team Jayco AlUla is a team with a great history, which I already admired as a young rider. It has always been a dream to join them, so I am excited about this opportunity! For me, this is definitely the best team to continue pursuing my dream of winning races! We enter 2026 and return to the top".
Brent Copeland, General Manager of Jayco AlUla, adds: "We are pleased to welcome Pascal to the team and believe he will integrate perfectly with the established squad. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated the ability to win at the highest levels, as shown by his multiple stage wins in Grand Tours. We can't wait to work with him next season and see what he will be able to achieve under the guidance of the team's coaches and sports directors".
