The countdown is over: Above | The Bike Experience kicks off today, an event staged by Livigno Next and Movestro, the project heart of IBF - Italian Bike Festival, which celebrates the bicycle where it offers its best: among mountain roads, panoramic trails, and breathtaking routes.
From today until Sunday, June 22, Livigno transforms into a base camp for those seeking more than just a bike ride: 40 confirmed exhibitors, free test rides, technical clinics, social rides, and exceptional guests like Mario Cipollini, Eva Lechner, and Elia Viviani. Above | The Bike Experience is not just a simple fair: it's an experience to be built in the saddle, in one of the most iconic territories for cyclists, a preferred destination for athletes, teams, and international brands due to its scenic beauty, 3200 GPS-mapped routes, altitude training, and quality facilities.
A program that is lived, listened to, and pedaled.
The heart of the event is the Above Village, in the center of Livigno: a vibrant and open exhibition area where you can discover the latest bike sector innovations, test models on dedicated routes, consult with experts, and pedal alongside ambassadors and athletes. On stage, every day, the Serial Scanners (@scannellatori_seriali) will accompany the public with their direct and ironic style: games, interviews, and live entertainment will animate the village, along with new episodes of the TriCiclo podcast.
Guided Experiences and Partner Activities
Many special guests not only on stage but also in the saddle: protagonists of guided outings planned both in the official fair calendar and among partner-branded initiatives.
In total, 12 experiences curated by the location's partners - Carosello 3000 and Sitas, Mottolino, Black Bike School, and BikeLivigno MTB Tours - designed to offer each participant an immersive experience among breathtaking scenarios and familiar faces from the bike world. Here are some of the proposals:
- Enduro Natural Trail with Diego Caverzasi
- Trail Tales Experience in collaboration with Orbea, together with Simone Orlando and Michela Moioli
- Passes on the Road Experience, in collaboration with Specialized, together with Chiara Ciuffini
- Sunset Ride on Alpine peaks, in collaboration with Bosch, with Erwin Ronzon
- Carosello 3000 Flow Ride, always with Bosch and Erwin Ronzon
Bike experiences can be booked starting June 16 on the MyLivignoPass app. By downloading the app, visitors can also stay updated on events and receive a free lift valid on all facilities to access the routes for testing their bike.
From sunset onwards, the party continues. Two more must-not-miss appointments: on Friday, June 20, the Friday Night Party will be held at the Apres-ski Alegra; on Saturday, June 21, the Bike Party will take place at the Above Village.
