TECHNIPES #INEMILIAROMAGNA, THE COLLABORATION WITH CAFFE' BORBONE GROWS STRONGER

CONTINENTAL | 10/06/2025 | 08:05

Caffè Borbone, a leading company in coffee roasting and single-portion coffee, renews its partnership with the Team Technipes #inEmiliaRomagna, an Elite and Under 23 team from Emilia-Romagna created to showcase young Italian cycling talents, under the guidance of national icon Davide Cassani and the qualified staff involved in the project. After last year's success with the GP Caffè Borbone debut, the collaboration is further strengthened: the Caffè Borbone logo will be present on the team's jerseys, engaged in a high-level race calendar both in Italy and abroad.

The union between Caffè Borbone and Team Technipes #inEmiliaRomagna is renewed under a shared vision: supporting the potential of new generations, promoting sports as a tool for talent development, and supporting the territory through initiatives that combine passion and culture.

"The relationship between Caffè Borbone and our Team" - explains Davide Cassani, creator of the Team Technipes #inEmiliaRomagna project and president of APT Servizi Emilia Romagna, which promoted the project's birth - "is much more than a simple sponsorship: it's a meeting of values. Believing in young people, accompanying them in their growth path, supporting Italian territories with their unique characteristics, and promoting sports culture are objectives we share in every daily action we carry forward. A good coffee, for a cyclist, is often the starting point of a training day or the moment when team spirit is created on the bus. That's why I'm happy that Caffè Borbone is still by our side, in Italy and abroad, along the true and metaphorical climbs of sports and daily life".

Caffè Borbone promotes and supports every form of talent, recognizing its value as a fundamental lever for social development. Through targeted initiatives, strategic partnerships, and active territorial projects, the company is committed to enhancing individual capabilities in artistic and sports fields. In particular, Caffè Borbone recognizes sports as a powerful vehicle for talent expression, capable of transmitting values such as commitment, resilience, and team spirit, in line with its corporate vision and DNA.

"We are proud to confirm our support for Team Technipes #inEmiliaRomagna. This partnership represents a sincere and concrete commitment to new generations and their authentic talent. We share essential values with the team such as passion, commitment, ethics, and sense of community. It is a privilege to walk alongside these young athletes, supporting them in daily challenges made of sacrifice and passion. As supporters of what we define as 'Daily Heroes', we will be with them in moments of fatigue and defeat, as well as in moments of joy and victory, ready to celebrate every success together" - declared Marco Schiavon, CEO of Caffè Borbone.

Born in 2019 from an idea by Davide Cassani - former professional cyclist and national team coach from 2014 to 2021, who became over the years the voice of Italian cycling for thousands of enthusiasts - Team Technipes #inEmiliaRomagna brings together 13 young cyclists from all over Italy with the goal of helping them transition to professional cycling, thanks to an excellent technical staff. At the same time, the team promotes Emilia-Romagna as an ideal land for cycling tourism, thanks to the beauty of landscapes, food and wine culture, and a network of routes designed for all cycling enthusiasts.

Caffè Borbone and Sports: 2025 Appointments

Suzuki Bike Day – June 14, Monza Autodrome

Caffè Borbone will be present again this year at the Suzuki Bike Day, which reaches its fifth edition and will be held on June 14 starting from the Monza National Autodrome. A non-competitive event that attracts enthusiasts from all over Italy, along a route inspired by the renowned Coppa Agostoni, designed to celebrate sustainable mobility and cycling as a lifestyle. The day will see the participation of Davide Cassani, who will illustrate the route and symbolically guide participants together with Team Technipes #inEmiliaRomagna.

Cassanata Tour – June 19-22, a journey from Milan to Cortina

Again in the company of Davide Cassani and with the support of Caffè Borbone, the Cassanata Tour returns this year: four stages among the most iconic climbs of Italian cycling – Milan, Morbegno, Bormio, Bolzano, Cortina – to tell the beauty of our mountains, the effort and charm of cycling with the authentic taste of a good coffee shared at the finish line.

2nd Caffè Borbone Grand Prix – August 23, Emilia Romagna

After last year's success, the 2nd GP Caffè Borbone returns, an exclusive national cycling race dedicated to the Juniors category (17-18 years old). The event is scheduled for August 23, with a 125 km route between Errano di Faenza and Brisighella, passing through some areas affected by the 2023 flood, now symbols of rebirth and resilience: an initiative that consolidates Caffè Borbone's role as a supporter of youth talent and territorial enhancement.

Eroica – the charm of cycling from another era

Thanks to the partnership with Eroica, started in 2025, Caffè Borbone's commitment to the cycling world now extends to three international stages, consolidating its presence beyond national borders. Eroica is a cult cycling event that celebrates the values of authenticity, sustainability, and sporting passion. An opportunity for Caffè Borbone to bring the taste of Italian espresso outside national borders through its presence in hospitality areas, refreshment points, and coffee supply in gift bags for participants.

The initiative began with the first international stage in Valkenburg (Netherlands) on June 6 and 7, with a scenic refreshment point inside Cortenbach Castle.

The Eroica journey will continue with another appointment in Germany, in Eltville on August 23, before culminating in the Italian event, in the place where everything started.

On October 4 and 5 in Gaiole in Chianti (Italy), Caffè Borbone will be a protagonist with "Coffee at the start" and presence in the Village with a branded stand. Additionally, on the occasion of the third Italian stage, Davide Cassani, the soul of the event, will also be present.
