"Today was also a bit of a crazy stage," Milan said smiling in the press conference. "The entire team truly believed in this victory, they were certain it would be possible and that's exactly how it went. They motivated me and gave me so much. This helped me not only by guiding me, but also seeing them all close to me in support was really important from a mental perspective."

The Critérium du Dauphiné has for several years been the race that many riders choose who will go to the Tour de France to achieve important results. Milan has also chosen this stage race to complete his preparation for the Grand Boucle, and his goal will be to wear the first yellow jersey and arrive in Paris with the points classification jersey.

"This result is very important for us, also because I know my form is not yet at the top, but we are here to build good form for the Tour de France. This preparation is bringing super motivation for both me and the team. I think we are doing excellent work overall. We know that already from the first stage of the Tour, we sprinters will have important opportunities and winning in the first stage means getting the first yellow jersey. This is the goal we are aiming for, but of course we are also thinking about the points classification jersey."

Racing in the Tour de France is always exciting and when you participate to achieve important goals, the emotion can even increase. Milan is happy and wants to approach the Tour step by step. He doesn't feel stressed and wants to prepare himself at his best, because he knows that with his team he can achieve important results. "I have to say I can't wait to go to the Tour.
