Just hours after the official conclusion of the 2025 Giro d'Italia, professional cycling doesn't stop: on Monday, June 2nd, Pieve di Soligo reignites the spotlight on the traditional Cycling Stars Criterium, now dubbed by the public and insiders as the "22nd stage" of the Corsa Rosa.
A unique event that brings the protagonists who just descended from the Rome podium to the city streets, offering the public a day of celebration, emotion, and great two-wheeled spectacle.
The star of the evening will be Isaac Del Toro (UAE Team Emirates - XRG), a young Mexican talent and authentic revelation of the Giro d'Italia: he wore the pink jersey for eleven consecutive days, the symbol of leadership, and currently leads the young riders' classification wearing the white jersey. Alongside him will race Giulio Pellizzari (Red Bull - BORA - Hansgrohe), a hope of Italian cycling who has raced with great personality, challenging the greats during the toughest stages.
Together with the already announced Lorenzo Fortunato, Christian Scaroni will represent XDS Astana Team, protagonist of the moving finish at San Valentino di Brentonico, right alongside his teammate.
In Pieve di Soligo, two experienced riders who stood out during this edition of the Giro d'Italia will also be present: the Sicilian Damiano Caruso (Bahrain Victorious), best Italian in the general classification with his fifth position, and the Spaniard Carlos Verona (Lidl-Trek), triumphant at the Asiago finish line.
The Cycling Stars Criterium is much more than a race: it's a tribute to the Giro protagonists, a celebration for enthusiasts, and an opportunity to experience cycling up close by transforming the city into a high-intensity circuit.
The appointment with the twenty-second stage of the Giro d'Italia is set: Pieve di Soligo is ready to welcome the two-wheeled stars, with the highlight race of the evening scheduled for 9:00 PM.
