Yesterday, the giant overlooked the Giro d'Italia that stopped in Bormio, but on June 28th, the Stelvio - we're talking about it - will be the stage for a delightful event reserved for cycling enthusiasts: the 2nd Vanni Losa Memorial - Stelvio Pass Hill Climb will take place. Organized by Polisportiva Losa, the event is scheduled for 8:30 AM in Prato allo Stelvio, in the province of Bolzano.
The 2nd VANNI LOSA Memorial - dedicated to the famous frame builder from Vittuone - will be a Competitive FCI + Non-Competitive event for members of other associations: the admitted categories are 3MT/ELMT/M1/M2/M3/M4/M5/M6/M7/M8/M9/M10/3WS/EWS/W1/W2/W3/W4/W5/W6/W7/W8/W9/W10.
Free starts, as mentioned, from Prato allo Stelvio (925 mt) to climb up to 2,757 meters of the Stelvio Pass for a 25-kilometer route with an elevation gain of 1,832 meters on a road open to traffic.
The participation fee for the FCI competitive event is €29.00, for the Non-Competitive event is €25.00: the fees include Timing Service, Insurance, and Refreshment Pack at the finish line. Additionally, for those who wish, there's the possibility to purchase the event commemorative jersey, a high-quality technical jersey produced by Losa, at the price of €39.
