
Campanian Vincenzo Vito and Pisan Tommaso Marini were the first two victorious on the track of the Alfredo Martini cycling track in Albinatico di Ponte Buggianese during the "Blue Day-Pistoia Societies Trophy" promoted and organized by the Pistoia Provincial Committee of the Italian Cycling Federation with the active collaboration of Pistoia youth cycling societies and valid for the assignment of provincial titles. A review in memory of personalities who loved cycling, a sport for which they were committed with great energy and dedication, such as Maurizio Poltri, Ivano Landi, Sauro Coppini and Piero Pratesi, technical escort of the Pistoia Motorcycle Group, who died in the tragic road accident during the junior race in Stabbia on May 4th. Vincenzo Vito of Team Cesaro - Franco Ballerini achieved his sixth seasonal success in a sprint finish ahead of the entire group after 12 laps of the track, equivalent to 24 kilometers, with 56 starters, with second and third places going to the Coltano Grube pair of Stefani and Della Polla. The Pisan team of the Stefanucci family took revenge in the second-year race, with Tommaso Marini's sprint victory over Aretine riders Niccolò Iacopi and Brocchi. The two provincial champions, both from Pol. Milleluci, were Lorenzo Petracchi in the first year and Vincenzo Muscia in the second.
