Currently competing in the Vuelta Espana with her FDJ Suez teammates alongside captain Demi Vollerig, Vittoria Guazzini will remain with the French team for a long time. The 24-year-old Tuscan, who was seen setting the pace at the front of the group yesterday to position sprinter Ally Wollaston, has signed a contract extension until 2028.
"Vittoria is one of the best time trial riders in the world, one of the best classics performers, and one of the best teammates a leader could wish for. Her dedication and loyalty have made this extension a natural decision. We are delighted to continue writing our story together, with even more ambitious goals," said Stephen Delcourt, Team Manager of FDJ Suez.
The French team has also officially confirmed other renewals: in addition to Guazzini, who has been with the team since 2022, both Amber Kraak and Léa Curinier will continue to wear the red-blue jersey. The 30-year-old Dutch rider has signed an agreement until the end of 2027, while the 24-year-old French rider will remain with FDJ Suez until the end of 2026.
