Intense rays of light. As seen in the logo dedicated to this year's edition, crossed by intense sunrays, it recalls the desire that light symbolically accompanies the 38th Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel.
Lüm - Light: a simple word, but full of meaning. An invitation to illuminate oneself inside, to seek one's direction, to find clarity and hope even after darkness.
The logo, solid but etched by light, represents exactly this: transformation, change, the strength of rebirth. The final "M" recalls not only the Maratona, but also the silhouette of Sassongher, which, as every year, lights up at the first light of morning, offering a moment of pure magic before the start.
Numbers and Requests
Years pass, but the appeal of the Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel remains unchanged. For the 2025 edition, enthusiasm was extraordinary: against 8,000 available race bibs, there were 32,700 requests.
Equally divided, participants come 50% from Italy and 50% from abroad, with 91 nationalities represented. Making all this possible, as always, will be 1,500 tireless volunteers, with 6 hours of live broadcast on Rai2.
Routes and Closed Passes
Also this year, there will be three routes that define the soul of the Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel, crossing the legendary Dolomite passes, closed to traffic for the occasion.
Pordoi, Sella, Gardena, Campolongo, Falzarego, Giau, Valparola: names that evoke effort, emotion, and wonder. Pedaling among these rock giants means immersing oneself in an authentic nature, made of silences, majestic landscapes, and blooms that at the beginning of summer transform meadows into color palettes. A heritage to be experienced and protected, now more than ever.
- Maratona: 138 km and 4,230 m of elevation gain
- Medium: 106 km and 3,130 m of elevation gain
- Sellaronda: 55 km and 1,780 m of elevation gain
Maratona and Charity
Solidarity is a fundamental pillar of the Maratona. For the 2025 edition, 400 registrations were sold, with proceeds (over €73,000) donated to three associations.
The "Insieme si può" Groups Association Onlus/NGO, which manages the "Light for Life" project, aimed at ensuring access to quality healthcare services in vulnerable contexts, addressing the health crisis in Syria, Uganda, and Chad.
The Dr. Ambrosoli Memorial Hospital Foundation ETS, supporting the "Give Light to the Future" project, which aims to ensure safe childbirth for 3,000 mothers and their children at the Kalongo hospital in Uganda.
The Michele Scarponi Foundation ETS, supporting the school project "The Road Belongs to Everyone, Starting with the Most Vulnerable" to raise awareness among students about the importance of following rules, road life, and sustainable mobility.
"Sport in the Story - The Enervit Story"
Presented by Sky Sport and Enervit, the documentary is exclusively available on Sky Sport, on demand.
For Enervit, Maratona dles Dolomites - Enel is much more than a cycling event; it's a moment of sharing where passion, enthusiasm, commitment, effort (on the pedals), and joy are renewed every year. For almost thirty years, we have been present in Corvara to support participants with our knowledge and experiences, our innovations, and to pedal with the passionate cyclists of our Enervit Endurance Team.
A Team that, on the roads of the most spectacular Dolomite passes, has hosted over the years many champions friends of Enervit and the Maratona, such as Francesco Moser, Miguel Indurain, Davide Cassani, Stefano Baldini, Federico Pellegrino, Laura Pirovano, Linus... The same ones who are among the protagonists of the documentary "Sport in the Story - The Enervit Story", along with many other great athletes of present and past, like Sara Simeoni and Valentina Vezzali, Tadej Pogačar and Jannik Sinner.
A choral story that, starting from sport and scientific research, however opens the horizon to other perspectives, such as society and customs in different eras. Not just the story of an entirely Italian company that became global, the documentary talks about research and scientific progress and how integration and nutrition have revolutionized the approach to sports activity, bringing it to the highest levels.
The documentary, available on demand on Sky Sport, was created with the artistic direction of Giovanni Bruno, who also interprets the narrative voice.
