Italy takes the second stage of the Tour de Romandie, contested over a distance of 157 kilometers with start and finish in La Grande Béroche: Lorenzo Fortunato from XdS Astana claimed the success by surprising the four breakaway companions - Junior Lecerf from Soudal Quick Step, Juan Pedro Lopez from Lidl Trek, Alex Baudin from EF Education Easypost and Lennert Van Eetvelt from Lotto - just before the last kilometer, securing his sixth career victory, exactly two years and one day after his last success.
