It's Matteo Vercher's turn in the French classic calendar. After Guillaume Martin's victories in Grand Besancon and Tour du Jura, today it was the turn of the Total Energies rider to triumph in the Tour du Doubs, which took place from Pontarlier to Morteau over a distance of 196 kilometers. Vercher, a 24-year-old from Lyon, outsprinted his compatriot Adrien Maire (Unibet Tietema Rockets), Spanish rider Ivan Cobo (Equipo Kern Pharma) and Braz Afonso (Groupama-FDJ), who had broken away from the peloton in the final stages.
