The Tour de Hongrie has today announced the teams that will participate in the 2025 edition next month. Six WorldTour teams will be present, namely Lidl - Trek, UAE Team Emirates XRG, Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe, Jayco AlUla, Bahrain Victorious and XDS Astana Team. At the start is also expected the record holder for stage wins, Dylan Groenewegen, who stands at six victories.

Among the ProTeams participating will be Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team, Euskaltel - Euskadi, Team Flanders - Baloise, Unibet Tietema Rockets, Team Polti VisitMalta, Caja Rural - Seguros RGA, Equipo Kern Pharma, VF Group - Bardiani CSF - Faizané and Team Novo Nordisk.

It is a great pride for Hungarian cycling to line up three Continental teams: Epronex - Hungary Cycling Team, Team United Shipping and Karcag Cycling ÉPKAR Team. At the start also two foreign Continental teams: the Italian MBH Bank Ballan CSB, with a Hungarian title sponsor and five Hungarian riders, and the Slovak Pierre Baguette Cycling, linked to Peter Sagan. A peculiarity is that the regulations allow the participation of professional cyclocross teams, including the Belgian Pauwels Sauzen and Cibel Clementines, who have won the World Cup in that discipline.

The most experienced team in the race will once again be Team Polti VisitMalta, which will participate in the Tour de Hongrie for the eighth time. In contrast, Equipo Kern Pharma, VF Group - Bardiani CSF - Faizané, Pauwels Sauzen - Cibel Clementines, Team United Shipping and Karcag Cycling ÉPKAR Team are preparing for their first Tour de Hongrie in history.
