THREE NEW SIGNINGS FOR BIESSE CARRERA PREMAC; WELCOME AGOSTINACCHIO, IACOMONI AND ROSSI

Another trio of arrivals at Team Biesse Carrera Premac for the 2025 Continental formation, which will continue to be led by sports directors Marco Milesi and Dario Nicoletti. Wearing the Brescia jersey will be Under 23 riders Filippo Agostinacchio and Nicola Rossi, and Elite rider Federico Iacomoni.
FILIPPO AGOSTINACCHIO - From Aosta, born in 2003, he is one of the international talents in cyclocross, a discipline where he is the 2024 European Champion in Team Relay and U23 European Vice-Champion, in addition to two recent national titles in the same category, which are added to the 2024 Italian Gravel Bronze. In the past road season, racing with Team Beltrami Tsa Tre Colli, he reached the bottom step of the podium at Coppa Collecchio and Freccia dei Vini.
"The choice to join Team Biesse Carrera Premac was simple, because I consider it one of the best Italian Continental teams; I'm sure this year I will be put in the best possible conditions to perform. I expect to start well at the beginning of the season, maintain good form in my last year as an Under 23, and maybe secure a move to the professional ranks".
FEDERICO IACOMONI - From Trento, born in 2002, he comes from Zalf Euromobil Désirée Fior and is one of the experienced elements of the team. For the Elite from Gardolo, last season's success at Coppa Loro Ciuffenna had a special flavor, after the ordeal of surgery following a serious training accident in November 2023. For him, another highlight last season was in Ponsacco. "I chose Team Biesse Carrera Premac for the race project and the staff; from the outside, I've always seen a serene environment where I can try to be an important figure and seek a move to the professional ranks, my great goal for 2025".
NICOLA ROSSI - From Piacenza, born in 2003, he comes from Team Beltrami Tsa Tre Colli where he raced with Agostinacchio. In 2024 on the pedals, he won three podiums: the most prestigious being silver at the Italian U23 Championship in Trissino, which adds to second place in the fourth stage of Giro del Veneto and third place at Gran Premio Varignana, in Emilia.
"I chose Team Biesse Carrera Premac because in my opinion it is the strongest team in the category, the only society that can give me a future perspective seeing how the world of cycling is going now. I can't wait to start, I'm very happy with my choice, which is of vital importance in terms of calendar and organization to express myself at my best".
THE DS' OPINION - Commenting on the characteristics of the three new arrivals is Marco Milesi, sports director of the team together with Dario Nicoletti.
"We chose three mature, quality guys, ready to give a great hand to the team; they are all strong, each with his own characteristics. Rossi is a fast rider, always present in race finals and on certain classics he will be there to win. Iacomoni, on the other hand, is an Elite, has experience to spare and comes from a strong society like Zalf. He is determined and wants to prove his value with a possible move to the professional ranks like his teammates. Finally, Agostinacchio - currently engaged in cyclocross - is a pure attacker, climber, always present in breakaways, who gave us a hard time in 2024 at Giro della Val d'Aosta in the fight for the Mountains Jersey won by Tommaso Dati".
