Racing continues in El Salvador with continued good results for Italian athletes. Yesterday, in the GP Longitudinal del Norte, Giorgia Vettorello climbed to the third step of the podium. The 99-kilometer competition was honored by ninety cyclists who pedaled from Desvio de Amayo to the finish line in Nueva Concepcion, where Paula Patiño (Laboral Kutxa - Fundación Euskadi), with her third victory in the Salvadoran tour, beat Hall and Vettorello, both from Team Roland. Sofia Arici, a 23-year-old from Vini Fantini Bepink, also performed well, finishing the race in eighth position. Today, the GP Oriente 76 is scheduled, which should favor the sprinters.
