Sophia Sammons is the new Australian time trial champion in the U23 Women's category. The 20-year-old rider from Team Redcat completed the 29.3-kilometer course in 40 minutes and 22 seconds, beating Sophie Marr, a 21-year-old from Liv Alula Jayco Continental, by 55 seconds. Completing the podium, with a gap of 1'09" from the winner, was Mackenzie Coupland, born in 2005 and promoted this season to the WorldTour Liv AlUla Jayco team
