The announcement came just hours before the start of the 2025 Tour de France Femmes: Kim Le Court and AG Insurance – Soudal will remain together at least until the end of 2028. The Mauritian national champion in road and time trial has reached an agreement with the Belgian team to extend her contract, which was set to expire at the end of the current season.
"Continuing with AG Insurance – Soudal was an easy decision. I believe in the people, the project, and the path we are building together. This team allows me to pursue the biggest goals in this sport, but also something even more important: I feel at home. When you spend most of the year away, being part of a team that shares your values and makes you feel like family makes all the difference," said the winner of the 2025 Liège–Bastogne–Liège and the last stage of last year's Giro d'Italia Women.
Sports director Jolien D'hoore, who will guide Kim from the team car during the Tour, commented: "We are proud to extend our collaboration with Kim. In the last season, she has proven to be a talented athlete and a teammate with a great racing instinct. Her victory at Liège-Bastogne-Liège was a clear example of her potential at the highest level. We believe Kim still has a lot of room to grow, and we are excited to support her growth in the coming years. Extending her contract aligns with our long-term goals to consistently compete at the highest level in the most important competitions".
