Participating in the Giro d'Italia is the dream of every rider, and Andrea Pusateri is about to make this dream come true. The athlete from Monza, who at the end of 2024 had anticipated to tuttobiciweb his return to cycling, stating: "2025 will be full of beautiful things and new challenges", is in the pink caravan with the rank of captain of Team Rovagnati, one of the teams that will animate the 18 stages of GiroE from May 13th.
On the eve of the departure from Ostuni, we intercepted Pusateri, who did not hide his joy for this new adventure: "I'm over the moon, participating in GiroE is truly a dream". The athlete born in '93 also proudly emphasizes: "This is the first time a Paralympic athlete will be captain of a team in the GiroE event, I am very proud and extremely grateful to Rovagnati and all the people who believed in me and gave me this splendid opportunity".
Andrea will lead his teammates, guests of the sponsor company, pedaling with them along the peninsula with a main objective. "I will lead a team where the key word will be inclusivity, and in this adventure, the message I want to personally convey is that nothing is truly impossible".
He then adds: "I can't wait to start and experience the great emotions of the pink race together with my travel companions and the public we will meet along the roads".
