Aubin Sparfel claims the continental cyclocross crown. The Decathlon CMA-CGM Team rider has conquered the European title in the Under 23 category at the end of an intense and fiercely contested race right down to the final meters. The talented French rider from Chéniménil, born in 2006 and already junior European champion at Pontchâteau in 2023, demonstrated his explosive finishing kick in the decisive sprint, beating Belgians Giel Lejeune and Viktor Vandenberghe.

Italian Filippo Grigolini, Sparfel's teammate, narrowly misses the podium, finishing in fourth place after delivering a high-quality performance. Fifth place goes to Stefano Viezzi, who crossed the line just 5 seconds behind the new European champion.

For Sparfel, this represents another prestigious international victory, confirming the young Frenchman among the most brilliant cyclocross performers worldwide, and beyond, of the new generation.
