Anticipation is growing for the official presentation of the Giro d'Italia 2027 which will take place today in Rome, although much is already known: the start from Trieste with a passage through Slovenia, descent down the peninsula along the Adriatic coast with the Marche region followed by three days in Abruzzo and in particular the time trial climb from Sulmona to Campo di Giove, then the sixth consecutive finish in Naples and the climb with challenging finishes on Monte Livata in Lazio and at the Zum Zeri winter resort in Tuscany.

This will be followed by the time trial starting from the Monza circuit while the third week will open with the most anticipated stage, the Sondrio-Aprica with the double Mortirolo and the Gavia which will be the Cima Coppi. Then the return to Madonna di Campiglio, before the Pordenone-Zoncolan stage that will precede the final celebration in Rome.

The Giro d'Italia and Giro d'Italia Women will be presented at 12 noon in the evocative setting of the Auditorium Parco della Musica Ennio Morricone in Rome. The event will be hosted by Pierluigi Pardo and Cristina Fantoni, with Elena Cecchini, Giacomo Nizzolo and Moreno Moser illustrating the technical aspects of the route, and will be the opportunity to discover the routes of both competitions and see the beauties of the territories that the two races will traverse.
