To be a Continental team, the roster that Rotterdam - BEAT CC p/b Saxo is assembling week after week for the 2027 season is decidedly competitive. After the signings of Siebe Deweirdt, Finn Crockett, Mathis Avondts and Jelte Krijnsen, the Dutch outfit has indeed announced the signing of Artuur Torney and, above all, Loe van Belle, who together will allow the team to aim for even greater results next year.
Winner of three stages at the Tour du Brabant Flamand, the former arrives at BEAT after a professional season spent wearing the colors of the now-defunct Flanders-Baloise, a team that last year called him in at the last minute after the twenty-three-year-old Belgian from Gentbrugge had already found an agreement to race with the formation founded by Geert Broekhuizen.
At an even higher level, however, Van Belle performed in 2026, as the 2002-born Dutch rider defended, in the last season as well as in the two previous ones, the colors of Visma | Lease a Bike at World Tour level: the native of Zoetermeer, however, was not fortunate and, due to the shoulder fracture suffered in 2024 and the surgical intervention on the iliac artery in 2025, he was unable to make his mark as expected with the colors of the hornets who, despite the recent top ten finishes obtained at ZLM Tour and Tour of Guangxi, decided not to renew him.
BEAT therefore came to his aid and, just as they did with Krijnsen, seized the opportunity and decided to give him confidence by putting him under contract for 2027, a year in which Van Belle will try to bounce back and make those qualities shine again that only four years ago allowed him to finish ninth place (also wearing the yellow leader's jersey) at the Tour de l'Avenir.
