His is a true life in stages, made of kilometers traveled and finish and start lines. For Claudio Chiappucci, the start and finish lines are also places of the heart and, for literary reasons, have become "the places of the devil", collected and told by and with Federico Vergari.
Last night among the "places of the devil" the "JustMe" in Milan also came into play, where "el diablo" celebrated with some of his friends the satisfaction of being included in the final "shortlist" of the Bancarella Sport (won by Paolo Bertolucci and Vincenzo Martucci with the book "The history of tennis in 50 portraits", Gallucci Editore, ed.), together with "From your correspondent" by Alberto Cerruti; "My Olimpia in 100 stories + 1" by Dan Peterson with Umberto Zapelloni; "The prophecy of Magic Marquez" by Claudio Marcello Costa; "Black roads" by Marco Pastonesi; and indeed the book by Paolo Bertolucci and Vincenzo Martucci.
An evening in which Claudio was able to reunite with friends such as Gianni Bugno and Giuseppe Calcaterra, Nicola Miceli and Eugenio Berzin, Stefano Allocchio and Dr. Mario Sturla, Gilberto Simoni and Ambrogio Romanò, Marco Bellavia and Francesco Tizza. All together passionately, in an atmosphere of absolute joy and desire to spend some time together, between one trip and another, especially for that perpetual motion of Claudio, accompanied on this occasion by Samantha, his daughter, and Patrizia, his partner.
«I approached this publishing adventure with great curiosity – explained "el diablo" – and I would never have imagined reaching the final. The beautiful thing, however, is something else: they keep calling me from all over Italy to present it. I still have many stages ahead of me». All places of the devil.
