The Tour de France Femmes 2027 has been unveiled. The start will be from Great Britain and the grand finale on Puy de Dôme. The route for the sixth edition was presented today in Paris: it starts on July 30th from England and arrives on August 7th on the Auvergne giant. On the program are 1,156 kilometers, a team time trial in London and a decisive finale in the Massif Central.
The yellow jersey will be awarded on the slopes of Puy de Dôme, after nine stages and a journey that will take the Tour de France Femmes from Leeds to the heart of France. The British Grand Départ will offer three challenging days right away: a nervous first stage towards Manchester, a fraction rich in climbs up to Sheffield and, in London, the 18-kilometer team time trial, a novelty for the race.
After the transfer to France, the route will continue between coast, rolling roads and stages for the sprinters, before entering the Massif Central. The climb to Loge des Gardes will be the first test for the favorites; the concluding stage, 170 kilometers long with 3,800 meters of elevation gain, will culminate on Puy de Dôme. It will be there that the race will be decided.
