At the prestigious headquarters of Cicli Piton in Travagliato, in the province of Brescia, the roster of Team Piton that will compete in the 2026-2027 cyclocross season was officially presented. A well-attended event that brought together athletes, coaches, managers and representatives of the Lombard cycling movement.

Hosting the event were Sara and Simone Pitozzi, owners of Piton and promoters of the sports project dedicated to youth and amateur categories. The presentation was also attended by the president of the Lombard Regional Committee Stefano Pedrinazzi and the president of the Brescia Provincial Committee Paolo Zanesi, who also serves as Team Manager of the organization.

During the evening, the twelve athletes who will represent Team Piton's colors in the regional and national cyclocross calendar were unveiled. The technical direction of the youth squad will be entrusted to former professional Nicola Loda, also competing as an athlete in the Master 6 category, assisted by Marco Giacomelli and Cristiano Formenti. Cristian Palermo serves as a collaborator.

Particular attention was given to the young talents called upon to make their mark during the season. Among the juniors are Nicolò Lombardi and Jacopo Palermo, while in the Esordienti category, Margherita Bianchi, Marco Baresi, Vittorio Casali, Raffaele Tanzini and Andrea Zanotti will wear the Team Piton jersey. Tanzini has already made a name for himself by securing victory last Sunday at Clusane d'Iseo. Completing the roster are the Giovanissimi G6 Jacopo Rossetti and Stefano Zotti, ready to bring enthusiasm and passion to the Brescia project.

With a large and well-structured group, Team Piton takes to the starting line with the objective of growing and achieving results both at regional level and in the main national cyclocross events. Beyond competitive results, the team's mission remains that of introducing young people to sport, promoting through cycling passion, enjoyment and educational values.
