Mattia De Marchi puts his signature on the Serenissima Gravel held today in Tezze sul Brenta, in the province of Vicenza. The former Venetian professional secured victory thanks to a solo attack that allowed him to cross the finish line in complete solitude.
Behind him, an excellent performance from Nicholas Travella of Biesse Carrera Premac, who finished in second place ahead of Riccardo Lorello of Padovani Polo Cherry Bank. Further back in the top five were Filippo D'Aiuto and Giovanni Bortoluzzi, both riders for General Store Essegibi F.lli Curia, finishing fourth and fifth respectively.
For De Marchi, this is yet another confirmation of his prowess in gravel competitions, a discipline in which the Venetian continues to be among the main protagonists of the national scene.
