Haute Savoie 2027 rests on strong pillars in terms of media resonance, Sallanches and its Côte de Domancy, but also the MTB World Cup at Les Gets, hosting the world championships for the third time. Between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva they lay solid foundations, because for the French it is not mere self-celebration to say they are the "first place in the world as a destination for cyclists".

It will be free events for 90 percent, while for paid events ticket sales will open at the end of 2026. And on the volunteer front, 4,000 are needed, both French and English speakers. An imposing organizational challenge also on the accommodation front.

Monsieur Lappartient reveals how even through an amateur cycling ride the dream that became reality was born: "Saddier told me during the awards ceremony in the town of Châtel. I dream of bringing the World Championship back to Sallanches. I replied: look, Africa and Montreal are already assigned and for 2027 it would be a Super Worlds. Here we are".

In the room, particularly attentive, the members of the Organizing Committee of Trentino 2031 know that in less than a year the torch will pass to them. The refreshments can wait no longer.
